Capacity Configuration Method of Hybrid Energy Storage Participating in AGC Based on Improved Meta-Model Optimization Algorithm

To improve the performance and economy of hybrid energy storage system (HESS) coordinating thermal generators to participate in automatic generation control (AGC), a HESS bi-layer capacity configuration model that considers strategy net benefits is proposed. In addition, an improved mode-pursuing sampling (MPS) optimization algorithm based on meta-model presented accuracy solving. lower layer, participating AGC, predictive (MPC) distribute power reasonably. Based this, upper layer develops life-cycle benefit AGC its economy. The realizes iterative operation through parameter transmission. Furthermore, solution model, convergence speed MPS improved, so global search local can be taken into account. case study results show comprehensively consider interaction between operating HESS. proposed MPC has better frequency regulation performance.
